Intro

The IntegraSpec system consists of stay-in-place expanded polystyrene concrete form panels which are shipped to site flat in easy to handle bundles, installed in courses and spaced with various sized patented interlocking spacers. These panels are shipped directly to the construction site.

The versatility of this system allows not only the assembly of building structures quickly by construction workers but also by individuals who want to do self-construction.

However, the complicated paper guide provided in dozens of pages is not the most optimal way to familiarize and instruct new users on how to use the various IntegraSpec products needed to construct their building.

The challenge was to standardize in an interactive step-by-step guide the process of building a structure using different types of IntegraSpec panels and spacers by providing the necessary measurements, instructions and best practices to follow for a successful construction project.

Solution

In collaboration with Synode, the IntegraSpec team was able to convert the existing informations and instructions into an interactive 3D guide that walks the user through the construction of a formwork:- The tutorial presenting the different types of panels used (Standard, Angle).- The installation of the footing.- The installation of rows of formwork panels.- Panels cutting procedure.- The opening of doors and windows.- Installation of reinforcing bars.- The optimal way to set up the scaffolding system.

Today, IntegraSpec's 3D interactive guide, powered by Synode, is propelling a new era of expansion. The interactive guide allows customers to independently introduce themselves to the IntegraSpec product line and use it as a reference for their building structure projects.
